The Peterborough Fabian Society organises annual summer visits, including Lincoln in 2014 and recent trips to Coventry and Cambridge. We aim to explore radical aspects of a town’s past and present, inviting local experts to guide us (e.g. Lincoln’s Cathedral and Labour Club). We also arrange theatre visits and discussions over dinner afterwards e.g. Hope at the Royal Court this autumn dealt with a Labour Council forced to make cuts.

We also have summer walk with a pub meal afterwards.
The 2019 walk was along the river bank and through Lynch Wood between Alwalton and Ferry Meadows. Alwalton and the Lynch have an interesting history. (described here).
